PACA chose pervious concrete to promote the use of environmental "green" product for rain runoff.

This was used as an economical choice for industrial and heavy duty pavement area.

The panels were set on a 300-foot long retaining wall at a retention pond. Eighty-seven panels overlapped store fronts.

This project had an extremely tight schedule. Construction for the project began in the early fall and the shell of the building (including all Tilt-Up) needed to be up before winter.

Overlapping Tilt-Up panels were used on this project so that individual companies that rented space in the facility could have a unique entrance. This attractive project has overlapping panels with a Dryvit® façade.

This project has a fast-track schedule and needed to be completed within four months. Stadium seating was constructed in 16 theater areas.

To meet the fast-track schedule demands of this project, various trades were working on the job at the same time. Engelman Construction completed the stem wall with slabs. This is a major distribution center in the Lehigh Valley area, so it provided important economic benefits to the community.

 

Nestle Waters

Project Size: 500,000 feet

Engelman Construction completed the Tilt-Up, footings, foundations, ramp wall and ramps for this project. Constructed for the project began in August and water needed to be coming from the building in March, which created a fast-track schedule that had to overcome winter weather conditions. In addition to the Tilt-Up, Engelman also created an attractive entrance to the office with a colored concrete sidewalk at the entryway to the office.

 

Liz Claiborne Distribution Center

Project Size: 300,000 sf of floor including 86,000 sf of super flat floor

This project required a super flat Fmin 100 to allow for a high speed racking system that was to be implemented at the completion of the project. Engelman Construction achieved a Fmin 116 and was awarded a Golden Trowel award from the Face Companies for outstanding floor flatness.
